Billboard.com Top 10 Worst Album Covers of 2011
Jan 7th

Billboard.com has published a list with the top 10 worst album covers of 2011. What does that have to do with Limp Bizkit, you may ask?
…
Yes, they dared. Wes Borland’s awesome cover for Gold Cobra has made its way into the list and with a very high position. We don’t want to spoil the fun for you, so if you want to check its actual position in the list, check it out here: Billboard.com Top 10 Worst Album Covers
Wes Borland and DJ Lethal have both expressed their joy and good sense of humour for their position in the list on twitter:
Wes Borland: So am I going to get a trophy for this? Is there an awards ceremony?
DJ Lethal: YES!!! We’re #1 in billboard haha Billboard has printed its list of worst album covers (Limp Bizkit’s Gold Cobra is at No. 1). Awesome!!!!!
UPDATED: Shark Attack won’t be the next single and Limp Bizkit is not signed to Warner Bros.
Jan 4th

FINAL UPDATE: The screenshot is definitely a fake. We apologize for falling for this.
UPDATE: When asked on twitter about this, DJ Lethal called this rumour “bullshit”. Then, he said: “I’m 99% sure about this. If we are in Warner Bros. Records, nobody told me”.

The screenshot that you can see above has been posted a few moments ago in our forum. It corresponds to a presale for the Shark Attack single in the Spanish iTunes Store. And there you can see that it will be released under Warner Bros. Records!
As yet, nothing has been confirmed by any means, so take this bit of information as a rumour that could be a fake. That said, judging from the artwork, this could very well be real.
We will try to confirm this information as soon as possible. Stay tuned!

Limp Bizkit and Interscope Records part ways
Nov 29th
![]()
Last November 22nd, Fred Durst was the guest star in Poolside with Dean Delray and there he confirmed that Limp Bizkit had parted ways with the label they have released all their records with. Through its subsidiaries Flip, Geffen and Suretone Records, Limp Bizkit has managed to stick to the label that holds such big artists as Lady Gaga or Beyoncé. Fred Durst was even part of the executive board for some time serving as Vicepresident of Interscope Records, and Jordan Schur, their manager, is the former CEO of Interscope and Geffen, and he currenty runs his founded label in a joint venture with Interscope: Suretone Records. Casually, that was the last label Limp Bizkit had signed a deal with.
Now, according to Fred, the band has gone independent and are waiting until they can naturally write a hit song that would make people in the USA attend to their concerts again.
