Emmure frontman Frankie Palmeri‘s was interviewed by Eatgeekplay.com and opened up on his early musical inspirations. In addition to Blink-182, The Prodigy and Daft Punk, he cited Korn and Limp Bizkit as being game changers for him.
“Korn and Limp Bizkit are still the two bands I give all my credit to, as far as like, really honing my skill and helping me realize what it is I wanted to do and wanted to be in life, period.
I would watch tape after tape after tape, and like sit in my room and emulate Jonathan Davis and Fred Durst like every single day. That’s all I did for like hours and hours every single day, that’s all I would do. I dunno, it guess it paid off. I’m still kind of doing that now, but in my own way.”
