Youtube user Hezakya2 posted some rare footage of the recording process of “N 2 Gether Now”.
“N 2 Gether Now” is a song by American rock band Limp Bizkit and features Method Man. It was released as the third single in their second album Significant Other. The single was released alongside their last single “Break Stuff”. The song is completely void of instrumentalist members Sam Rivers, John Otto and Wes Borland and is a purely a hip hop song. Method Man had heard about Limp Bizkit, and wanted to record with them because he had never worked with a rock band. The band allowed Fred Durst and DJ Lethal to explore their hip hop origins by recording a song with the rapper, as well as DJ Premier of Gang Starr, who was brought in to produce the collaboration. The band wanted to record “a track that was straight hip-hop”, according to Wes Borland. The song was originally titled “Shut the Fuck Up”, but was retitled “N 2 Gether Now” for marketing purposes. The songs main riff is sampled from the Beastie Boys ft. Q-Tip song “Get it Together”
